Trails In Hopetoun

Explore our favourite trails and hikes located in Hopetoun.

East Mt Barren

The trail up East Mt Barren is a short but moderately difficult walk offering impressive views from the summit over Culham Inlet, the Eyre Range, Hamersley Inlet and the peaks of mid-Mt Barren and Thumb Peak. Offering a range of wildflowers throughout the year.

Cave Point-WestBeach

The Hakea Trail is a 23-kilometre spectacular, rugged coastal walk trail in the East Fitzgerald National Park. It starts at the Cave Point car park and extends westward to Quoin Head. The trail has markers bearing the Royal Hakea. However, the trail can be accessed at several points along its route, including the West Beach car park. The cave point to west beach section is the shortest part of the Hakea trail.

West Beach-Hammersley Inlet

Also part of the Hakea trail this spectacular coastal trek spans 12km along the rugged Fitzgerald coastline. On the walk, you will amazing ocean views along with many wildflowers and plant species. includes bushwalking, rocks and a section along Hammersley beach; our favourite.
